Yep, it’s time for another roundup!
We’ve had a super busy week here at Digital Pacific with all kinds of things happening behind the scenes – some very big things! But more on that in the coming weeks.
We started off by publishing the results of our 2016 Customer Service Survey. Thank you once again to absolutely everyone who participated – your input directly helps our products and services to continue improving and evolving so that we can best serve your hosting needs.
On Monday, Lindsay arrived! Lindsay will be spending the next few weeks training up on our hosting platform, so that he can join the ranks of our Tech Support team. Here’s our shot of Lindsay and his Team Leader, Lee, during one of their training sessions, as we (distractingly) lurk behind the glass panel of the boardroom.
We also had a couple of small and hairy visitors to our office last Thursday! We’ll be releasing a video shortly to show you just what they got up to. It is safe to say that Timo from Tech Support fell in love, deeply in love, and hasn’t quite been the same since.
Special thanks to our UX/UI Designer Paul, who moonlights as a photography wizard and somehow managed to capture the above adorable photos despite his subjects’ non-stop wiggling and waggling (Timo included).
On Friday, we had a Lebanese feast for our weekly team lunch. Aside from the potent, lingering aroma generated by the consumption of so much garlic sauce, it is always an obvious favourite around here.
Later that same day, we had an all-hands meeting, where we all gather after work for drinks and nibbles and catch up on our latest news and achievements. But before we got to all that, the most important part of the day… the Counter Strike showdown between SysAdmins Mitch and Jo.
For the record books, the winner was unequivocally Jo. Not to say that Mitch isn’t any good, more that Jo is… well a bit of a freak.
That’s all for this Office Roundup… but stay tuned in the coming weeks as we have some major news to reveal very shortly!
