NTT Japan is a high-standard datacentre with state-of-the-art facilities, high-efficiency air-conditioning, solar power generator panels, and LED lighting. The datacentre is also carrier neutral with a stable power supply with utility power, UPS and emergency generators.

Reliability & Power

NTT Japan has dual path power supply and the UPS configuration is in an N+1 configuration. Backup power is provided by gas turbine generators. Fully redundant dual power feeds are provided to each rack up to 4kVA.

Recovery

English speaking remote hands is available 24/7 and common HP and Dell spare parts are stored on-site for speedy replacement.

Security

The facility is guarded 24/7 with trained security guards. Access is only granted to authorised persons with Biometric and IC Card Authentication. CCTV Surveillance monitors all parts of the building.

NTT Japan is 100% carrier neutral and network services can be offered from a number of carriers local to Japan.

Tokyo No. 4 Data Center stands only 15 minutes away from Tokyo station and 8 minutes by walk from the nearest train station. With its convenient location, customers can immediately reach the data center on foot even when all the public transportation stops in case of emergency. Flood risk is also extremely low since Tokyo Bay has installed a breakwater high enough to protect the city from Tsunamis and high tides.
